Tasks/Assignments for intern: Depending on their team assignment, interns can be expected to attend team meetings, help organize events, do research, prepare speeches, participate in videos, table at community events, plan and attend lobby days, and more. El Pueblo is also dedicated to helping students grow in their focus area and will work with students to find the right role for them.
Ideal student description: The ideal intern is a dedicated student who is passionate about fighting for immigrant rights, voter rights, and the Latine community. They may be interested in communications, community organizing, civic engagement, or development and fundraising. While Spanish speaking is a bonus, it is not required.
