Tasks/Assignments for intern: Assist Community Education & Outreach staff with preparation of classroom materials.Deliver programs 2-3 days per week during the regular elementary school day.Assist CEO staff with program evaluation as needed.Accompany CEO Staff to adult education workshops and outreach programs as available.Conduct follow-up and make referrals for individuals who raise concerns during Center’sprograms; this includes working with the OCRCC staff and school guidance counselors and/or the Department of Social Services when disclosures involve child abuse.Complete all relevant trainings (as determined by supervisor) and other tasks as required.Provide direct services to OCRCC clients through 24-hour crisis hotline. By answering allincoming contacts utilizing appropriate empathy, assessment, referral, and advocacy skillswith efficiency meeting OCRCC guidelines. Conduct follow-up with clients as needed.Maintain appropriate standards of confidentiality.
