Tasks/Assignments for intern: Observing peer accountability process in a social model recovery program. Assist with case management in homeless shelter; admission, monitoring and discharge planning in detox; child and family services; psychoeducational classes; etc.
Ideal student description: Students who are driven with a high level of initiative do well in our agency. There are constant learning opportunities available for those willing to seek them out. Students who perform better in a more structured placement with daily tasks outlined may not be as comfortable with us.
