Tasks/Assignments for intern: - hospital and clinic setting. -Shadow and learn how to conduct psychosocial assessments, - follow patients/families through transplant process, assisting with variety of psychosocial needs; financial concerns by connecting them to appropriate resources/applying for grants) Helping patients and their families cope by providing supportive counseling. - Providing psychoeducation - Grief/End of life counseling collaborative multidisciplinary teamwork/problem solving. -Advocacy for patient/family needs. -program development opportunities - support group facilitation
