Tasks/Assignments for intern: An intern in the Academic Intervention Program would be responsible for administering evidence-based educational practices with at-risk and low-income youth who are struggling to make good grades in school. They will provide individual case management, plan educational activities for groups of kids, collect data on the impact of the program, work within the schools to understand kids' needs, and tutor/mentor kids in need of academic help.
Ideal student description: A self-starter who is interested in working with at-risk youth.
