Tasks/Assignments for intern: Tasks will include: completion of psychosocial assessments, child and family assessments, one-on-one family coaching, small group instruction, and case management. Services will be provided onsite or through our programs provided in partnership with the Salvation Army and Raleigh Rescue Mission.
Ideal student description: Students will ideally be open to learning a variety of techniques, while working within a multidisciplinary setting. They will frequently ask questions about the reasoning behind services and decisions made. Students will work to empower families living in poverty, with a focus on building skills of resiliency.
