Tasks/Assignments for intern: Typical tasks for interns at Alliance will range to assisting Independent Living Specialist with their case loads that will range from from any of our 5 core services ( 1. Information and Referral 2. IL Skills Training 3. Peer Counseling/ Life Groups 4. Transitions 5. Advocacy) Interns can also expect to assist in our travel training program and/or the Money Follows the Person program which gets individuals with disabilities out of institutions
