Potential grant writing, community outreach, and other macro activities if the student wants these types of activities.
Ideal student description: An ideal student is someone with experience working cross-culturally, particularly with refugees and immigrants. He or she should be able to think critically about clients' unique or complicated situations in order to help clients reach a solution to their problem. The student should be comfortable driving clients to appointments and working independently at times. The Refugee Support Center seeks a kind and patient student who is interested in working directly with refugees and is willing to learn from its staff and clients.
